Upon first listen through headphones, the song in FLAC is an incomparable richness compared to Mp3. (I still do not compare with a CD).
My equipment (or my ears) however did not find significant difference between the 2 versions of FLAC file.
If you have an equipment hifi high end and a large hard drive, you'll certainly willing and able to offer this new version of the Rolling Stones' repertoire.
If you're just an average equipment or even decent, the question of the merits of the acquisition of these pieces may arise and the acquisition of the 176.4 kHz version will not be necessary. My equipment (or my ears) however did not find significant difference between the 2 versions of FLAC file.
