Cancer Survivortatoos

Focus on ... The Four Horsemen

In sunny and chilly this morning, I went with the ears in a very fine album relatively unknown and not very easy to find:
Nobody Said It Was Easy by The Four Horsemen .
This album is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The cover is reminiscent Ogden's Nut Gone Flake , the Small Faces.

group name may sound like Metallica, but not his music, more rock than metal.
This group was founded by Stephen Harris (former Zodiac Mindwarp) and had a relatively short career and very chaotic, marked by accidents, arrests and deaths of various members.
The advent of grunge in the early 90's probably will not help either training to survive.

The fact remains that this first album, the influences of high quality (AC / DC, Status Quo debut, Creedence ...) does not lack class.

production, signed Rick Rubin, is simple and effective.
pieces, without great originality, are very catchy and away from heavy rock cliches of California at the time.
Nobody Said It Was Easy , Rockin 'Is My Business ... And Business Is Good , Wanted Man, Tired Wings, Homesick Blues there is not much to throw on this album that I highly recommend.
